Alcohol. The legal drinking age in Japan is 20. Tastings are for visitors aged 20 and over, and staff may ask for photo ID. Anyone who is driving is served soft drinks instead. Whether younger visitors can join the tour itself varies by facility. The official website may show an age-confirmation screen before the page loads; this is standard practice for alcohol brands in Japan.
